The concept of “save today for the needy days,” has been practiced since the evolution of mankind for storing, food grains, water, fossil fuels, to name a few items. Generation has been a witness to the conceptual changes where as the ideology has remained more or less unchanged. Today, the art of financial savings and investment has given rise to a new profession, Financial Planner cum Advisor, to impart professional advice, planning and monitoring of individuals portfolio.
My entry into this profession dates back my youth days when I use to spend my spare time helping my cousin who was an appointed Insurance Agent of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). My academic career was moderate as the inclination was towards conducting business my own way, i.e. being my own boss. During a short stint in the Diamond Industry, in the year 2008, I joined the insurance behemoth, LIC as an insurance advisor, on part time basis under the leadership of my Development Officer (DO), Mr. Hitesh Desai. Under his constant guidance and mentoring along with the support of my family members, friends and well wishers with their enriched faith and trust, in the year 2013, I turned into a full time advisor, thereby, full filling one of my missionary goal. At this juncture I also acquired the Non Life Agency under The New India Insurance Company.
My initial commitment was focused around my locality; predominately a rural belt of Southern Gujarat (Navsari district) as the locals had little or no knowledge of investments other than Post Office (Small savings) and Banks. To bring about a mindset transformation in this socio-environment, I conducted awareness gatherings and participated in social programmes and activities (distribution of prizes to the first three students, of all standards, in the annual examinations, is even today, an ongoing tradition
Keeping myself continuously updated, by attending training courses designed and developed by industry experts, I have empowered my knowledge and confidence level to present conceptual selling models to my preferred clients. Example of this is, CHILD EDUCATION, MARRIAGE PLANNING, RETIREMENT, VIRTUAL ESTATE CREATION, etc., a concept which is proving very fruitful.
I am proud to inform you that I have now moved into a rented office in Navsari with an able team to enhance Customer Care Services. Team is well trained and equipped with the latest working tools to exercise prompt services.
